KITTEN LESSON 0 (fragment 3 of ?)

Lesson one: the word mrrp means "I am not a cloud, please let me down." Say it slowly. Clouds do not answer to mrrp. Clouds do not answer to anything.
Lesson two: prrt means "the tuna is ticking." You will hear this sound from the pocket watch. The watch runs on tuna. When the tuna is gone, the watch stops, and so does the afternoon.
Lesson three: fwump is the sound a sock makes when it falls behind the radiator. Practise this sound every day. Nobody is allowed to find the sock. The cat knows where the sock is. The cat will not say.
Field notes, verified by cat: cats sleep for twelve to sixteen hours a day. A cat cannot taste sweetness. A group of cats is called a clowder. Each ear holds about thirty-two muscles, which is why the ears always know before you do.
Missing fragment: [ ▓▓▓▓▓▓ ] cloud. The cat was mistaken for a lost cloud on a Tuesday. It has been up here since. The cloud is not coming down. Nobody is coming up. Please do not ask the cat how it got onto the high shelf.
Rule of this dream: whatever falls is still falling. Scraps that fall keep rising back up through the page, one line at a time, until they remember the table.
